Archiving & Preservation

The long-term preservation of published content is a central commitment of SEM. We view scholarly articles not as temporary products but as enduring contributions to the scientific record, and we invest in ensuring their accessibility for future generations of researchers.

All published articles are assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) through Zenodo, providing permanent and reliable identification. In addition, metadata for all published works is deposited with indexing services such as Scopus, Web of Science, and subject-specific repositories, ensuring broad discoverability. Where authors provide supplementary files, replication packages, or data statements, these are linked directly to the article for ease of access.

By prioritizing archiving and preservation, SEM ensures that its scholarly contributions are not lost to time or technological change. This commitment underscores our mission to act as a custodian of academic knowledge, preserving the intellectual record for generations to come.
